Not only is this one of the best goodbye's I've ever heard, it is also a very
good song stand-alone. The music, the lyrics, the performance,
everything is brilliant. I for one are going to miss you and your music

I love you. I shall miss you.

Two of the best songs I've been part of on MJ have been CJ songs. And
"born free" is as close to perfection as songwriting gets in my book.
You have more originality in your little finger than most of us have in
our... er... big fingers.

Have a great trip and I hope I'll see you somewhere.

Oh yes. This one? This is another cracker. Has that mixture of
weirdness and realism, funy and sad that all your songs have. A lovely
melody too....

I love your 'goodbye' song very much and I too find it unbearably sad. I have always looked forward to your songs, your words, your talent and the unmistakeable tune that is yours alone.

I don't know why you'd want to be Johnny Cash.. I find Country John to be much more interesting!!

inspiration.

You've certainly left a song that'd going to remind us all what we're
missing. Looking at all your posted tracks, you've gone from a creative

I haven't been here long, but this is sad. Well done track, the bizarre
noise at 0:55 on ward is extremely trippy. The instruments that
accompany the guitar after that are a super pleasant touch. I like
your music. I'm sorry I came in on the tail end of it. For what it's
worth, you should want to be country john. That would be allright.

I release CDs and nobody buys 'em. I release metal stuff when I know
most people don't like it. I made Reverend Sasquatch and lots of
people have no use for him just on general principles. It's all what you
do, bro'. If people like it or don't like it, so what. The only thing that
matters is whether you like it.

At the same time, it's always lovely if someone enjoys your work but to
make it a requirement for what you are producing is tragedy in the
making as most people won't, no matter how good it is. Britney Spears
has squillions of fans who adore her but I doubt you could find many
people on MJ who would raise their voices to say anything good about
her (I am one of them, by the way, but that's not important right now).

You've got your family and your music; nothing else really matters.
And, quite frankly, most of the time family stuff is a pain in the ass. So
that leaves one thing.

Whatever you do, good luck with it.

seriosuly though - it is sad to see you go. someone said to avoid yoko (which i find odd because she's one of the people i'd most like to meet!) are you going to NYC? i'm hoping to move there soon.

but until whenever, we'll miss you around here.

oh, and by the by, i loved this song! the intro is amazing!
