Jolly Old St. Nick Jazz

Description
I am in the process of helping someone come up with a 30-second piece of background music for a possible TV commerical. This was my first try. It's "Jolly Old St. Nicholas." Drums are GB loops. Bass is from Sonic Boom Box. Piano is from Synthogy Ivory. (Ivory's latest update makes it completely compatible with GB -- no more issues!) All done in GB2.

My friend says this is too peppy -- need something more heart-tugging. So back to the drawing board. Anyway, I, for one, really like this little ditty. Maybe you will too.

I like it
I think it would do nice for a 30 sec commercial. It's hard to tell what
your looking for but sounds good anyway!

I was in the middle of dancing when it ended
No question you belong to the upper echelons of piano-playing. I'll
download this for Christmas! Ony one thing..it's too short. Can you
make it longer to make it a full song? The thrill just ends a little too soon.

The drums sound a little forced, but the piano playing is outstanding.
Short, sweet and nice ending chord.

Well Done
I love hearing another musician doing shorter #s
like this one. People do not realize how great a
short song can be. Playing these songs is a dying art.
Wonderful piano and beautiful arpeggios.

...I wanted this to keep going! Well, that's why there's the options to repeat songs in iTunes isn't it??? Thanks for the great rendition!

Thanks, Matt
Thanks for the comment, Matt. Yes, I should have made it longer, but it was a project for a 30-second commercial that someone asked me to do, so I had to keep in in that time frame.

But it's a great little tune, and one of these days I may spread out on it a little bit.
