Love the guitars and the general groove - could take a big vocal really well (say, the guy from AC/DC). You sure can play those git samples!!! My only criticism (a very small one) would be that the bass could come up in the mix - but maybe thats just the speakers I'm using at the moment. Great drumming! [ Reply to This ]

to all of you who have stopped in for a listen and commented. It's always great working with Steve on guitar, and I think his playing here is really superlative. I'm very happy with the responses I've gotten with this song; the fans and downloads tell me that I'm getting better at this making music thing. I appreciate the suggestions that I'm getting from y'all, here and in other songs. It's that advice that helps me learn how to connect with you via my music.
Steve and I have been jamming together, on and off, since 1990. As a drummer, I especially appreciate his excellent timing and very groovy playing. In addition, most of what I know about music theory was imparted by Steve; he really knows his stuff. Though we have somehow never managed to be in the same band, we've enjoyed jamming and always planned to make some recordings together. Now, 15 years later, I'm really pleased to actually be doing this! He's giving me a lot of material to work with, and you will here more Steve guitar here in the future.
Though I have a couple of drumsets, I have no recording gear. The drums you hear in this tune--and in all of my songs--are samples and loops. Most of them come from Drums On Demand, but also from many other sources. Even though the drums are 'fake', I do put great care into trying to make sure they are just right for the music, and I hope that shows.
