Description:
Can you figure out >twice< where the little guy goes under an over-hanging leaf?

Like in life for us humans, it is important to keep ourselves centered, well balanced so we can be ready for the great-exciting adventures that await all of us!

Just like this bug here on the leaf, we can get out of center and be on shakey ground just like the centipede on a leaf when he get on the edges of a leaf and could drop off and ruin his progress.

So we have to make sure our lives are centered righ. If not, we can get into trouble, whether it be love, money relationships, jobs, spirtual things etc. We need to be centered in making the right steps in life. Properly centered in making our relationships strong and heathly.

Going off on the deep end and out-of-center in what makes us happy can hurt us just like the centipede who gets too close to the edge the leaf .

I can just imagine the little critter &mdash 10/17/05 - 08:08:51 PM
Bill, it's really good to hear you adding some extra instrumentation - I have no idea how you keep finding those brilliant solo pieces, but I had thought you must be up for something different soon. This is a very nice moody piece showing a different side of thetiler - as did Stinger2 with Tadashi. While I really enjoy the solo pieces, I also find this very satisfying. It's very easy to see where you got the title from - I can just imagine the little critter shuffling about on all those legs!! Nice one! Neil

Nice mix here... &mdash 10/17/05 - 09:29:08 PM
...of acoustic and synth'd sounds. Add to that the percussion and you've
created a very interesting piece!
I like how it moves in a steady pace, which is a great complement to the
lazier slide of the guitar.

Excellent!

I love the way you have built this piece, Tiler... Exploring different

the never ending march... &mdash 10/17/05 - 10:22:05 PM
great composition and guitar playing...well, it helps to have 15 pairs of legs when it involves finding the center of gravity, but it's nice to know that little things can be sources of some inspiration in life...little things can have big dreams too....forever marching on...great tune! and jam on!

The composition is very good.
The percussion instrument is very impressive.
The melody of the synthesizer is effective.

By the way, the photograph of the artwork is a centipede.
Have you seen?
Centipede lives in the house where I live.
This is pierced.
It is painful.
And, it is itchy.

You really know how to handle that (Thor)Ax! Bill, this is wonderful, it
does just march along with hundreds of tiny legs, wonderfully rolling
music, and delightfully unique. You do have a wealth of material you
just keep coming up with... little Tiler bits here and there, but a fresh
new piece! Another Tiler DL for my musical mosaic, & faved!

Wonderful feel of motion in this one! The percussion anchors it and
allows your guitar to add flavor instead of having to carry it all. Good
GB2 choices that go well with the guitar sound.

This a great combination, the guitar and that cute synth. I think it
captures the character of the centipede. It's whimsical with a thoughtful
touch of something more serious. I enjoyed this greatly.

works well with the whole mood of the song. I can almost see all the

Fantastic... &mdash 10/21/05 - 04:57:24 AM
Such a great mixture of sounds and textures. This has such an original
feel to it... I particularly love the swooping bass noise agains tall those
busy tiny sounds and the slide guitar, and the way it breaks out into
that more conventional - but still delicious - guitar section, then folds
itself back into the first part again.

Fantastic... &mdash 10/21/05 - 11:06:42 AM
Thanks Mando

I had the feeling when doing this that the guitar lead section was like an over-
hanging leaf that he centipede would pass through. I am glad you mentioned
about the bass part, that was a last minute deal where I just thought it would be
fun and animate the bug feel with the whimsy bass feel on occasion.

Thanks for noticing these things Mando!
