interesting beats in here. I like the space age warpy stuff too. In some places I felt it was a little repetitive, but that's probably ok for a dance tune. The strings in back are an interesting contrast. I like the synthy accents floating around. Check out my latest song called Machine Man (w Beastie Boys)

Nice Jam Cool change ups at 1:35 and 3:08. Has an engaging techno-Celtic quality to it, along the lines of AfroCeltSoundSystem. Nice percussive elements throughout. Also enjoyed that deep synth sound that acts as the bass line. Good job. Check out my latest song called Bounce Buffet w/ Hectorious

Very nice combination Like AquilA, I really like the deep bass synth. This is a really interesting idea, combining the refined and twiddly classical melody with something so electronic and rhythmic. It works very well. May be worth trying to do something with the ending so it doesn't cut off so abruptly, but otherwise very nice work. Most enjoyable. Fantastically Gritty Synth Love the sound of that synth there... and as said before, nice trying to blend the strings with the more modern instruments. I particulary like the part about 1/3rd (and halfway) through where the violins are just playing to the drums and the drums are nicely mixed up. I do agree that sometimes it gets a little repetitive sometimes. I reckon a lot of the material you used just to break it up could have been used some more in their own right... but then again it wasn't too bad. For me the snare drum all the way through didn't quite work for me... after just a few repeats I just sorta ignored as being a repeated sample. There needs to be much more variation in the sound if its going to be repeated constantly. One big suggestion though, play around with the sterero space a little more. For your song I heard the strings at the left/right extreems and almost everything else in the center. Yes somethings work better in the center (Bass, vocals, snare and bass drum), but particulary with less important sounds (high hats, crashes, incidental sounds) do your best to try and separate them from the rest of the sound. If you've got a whole lot of sounds in the one place, it makes it difficult to separate them and less interesting in general. If sounds (particularly ones that sound similar) are spaced out, it is so much easier to identify them and makes the listening far more interesting. gives me chills... right when the strings come in. Wasn't expected, but wasn't a total shock. Elven gentility amidst aggressive synths and drums. The melody is quite catchy, and although this doesn't sound like typical "dance" music, I find it fits beautifully for dancing in the forests and the fields with my ipod. The last synth addition was a bit grating, and the ending a bit abrupt, but overall a relaly nice piece. You mentioned on the chat that the strings might be out of tune... didn't sound like that to me... but what do I know? Check out my latest song called Julia

Nice blend of styles. A very interesting ride.
Nice drum beats - really enjoyed the marching band-like snare drum.
Cool stuff.
