Woaaaaaa... cool
When I saw it was a Tiler/Nutz collaboration I knew I was in for something
unusual. Well, I likes it a lot. It's so brilliant how you got the two very
different worlds to fit together and I love how the touch and interact at
times and then come apart again. The little details that seem to shimmer
(like the picture) off of the strings bring it all together. There's a section
starting at about 01:00 that I find particularly beautiful.

	Contrast.... ....as has been noted in previous comments, is what makes this a very cool collaboration. The electronic backing creates a perfect canvas for Tiler's acoustic accents. And I love that the synth sounds were created from bits and pieces of a jam session with your kids! The ultimate collaboration! Thanks for posting this. :) Very cool. More fascinating stuff here. This time Bill's guitar sounds kind of lonely, but the electronic, futuristic soundbed makes it the lonelyness of space. So I imagine Bill passing the time during his trip to the stars playing with a sense of nostalgia and impatience. And of course, everything is slightly twisted and twilight zone, adding color to the scene. Very cool and evocative.

I love that song art. I checked out Cory's site, and he's got some really nice works.

Really enjoyed the piece. Like the hard metalic sounds; like the amoeba
like development; like how it is neither the sounds nor the guitar that
dominates, but how they are given equal space; like the daydream feel
that it has; like how neither the sounds nor the guitar enter into any
traditional use; like the quality of the recording, which has a nice analog
sound.

Well, how do ya not be impressed
Stun, TT, you guys this is so intriguing and very pleasant to listen to.
Who would have ever thought to have you two on the same planet as
each other, let alone have you successfully communicate such an
unearthly sound that musically, it has to appeal to a broad range of
earthlings...

I really liked this one and just like with all of your music Stun, I had to
sit down to listen three times before commenting to try to understand
what exactly is my appeal. However, even after sometimes four and
even up to five listens on your music, I am never able to articulate
exactly what those reasons are. What to know about that is, that I'm
always left comforted with the idea that somehow, for me, this is part
of the 'prize'....

This was that was very well done, but even more impressive, it was a
job that was well done and twice as much as usual. Congrads to the
both of you,

I totally enjoyed this track form beginning to end. You two, although having different styles independently, have melded exceptionally well. I love it when people can blend organic with electronic, it's right up my alley. I can't express how totally awesome it is to have your kiddos involved. I know they will forever be touched by the musical experiences you have had together. A top-notch piece indeed!

Let's figure this out...
...x number of points for unusual juxtaposition of sounds/noises in a
musical piece...add additional points for using a rich acoustic
instrument up against said sounds/noises...add additional points for
actually using someone like tiler, who can play the heck out of his
instrument... a few more points for tiler actually getting inside the feel
of the piece and not feeling like an overlay...bonus points for anything
with the word 'Casio' in it...super bonus points for excellent graphic
that suits the piece... even more points for using a jam session that
involved kids...

This is another one that's perfectly in keeping with what I hoped to find
when I joined MacJams...

Let's figure this out...
That's a great breakdown, Ejh... I really glad you had that kind of
connection with this piece.

You know, I can't believe how effortlessly this tune fell into place. The
concept and mood I had in mind before I started just seemed to work
out. The only instruction I had for the tiler was to "keep it minimal" and
he played his part perfectly. After that, I only had to do some minor
tweaking and we were ready to go...

As far as the CASIO thing goes... my ol' Caiotone 7000 and SK-1
keyboards have been with me since high school (1986-89). Someday I
will probably spring for "better" equipment, but I say make beautiful
music with whatever you have laying around... that's part of the
challenge!

By the way, I have often tuned in to here your work with "the peep" and I
think it is great that you work with your son as well...!

	Boundary-Shattering This is extraordinary. The only thing I can compare this to is some of Fahey's electronic explorations in his last few (too few IMHO) years or some of Gastr Del Sol's or Cul De Sac's work. (I am mentioning these artists in case you want to check out their work, since it is rare to hear music like this.) A wonderful ambient soundscape.

Hey
I've been so caught up in my studio making music these days, some great
tunes like this have flown past me. I am taking a break to venture out and
hear what else is going on. As always, I love your perspective on music.
You have a tremendous vision and firm grasp on composition. You did his
guitar justice. This felt like a soundtrack piece. Very spatial, so the
artwork is perfect. In fact, the song would be that art if it ever became
visible.
I think your next song should be about your minivan!
