Thank you, Tiler. I was gardening and listening to the reggae on satellite TV when I misheard some lyrics as "Row Row Row". This tune is the result. I was after a Dave and Ansell Collins sound, but what with my limitations and those of GB, this is how it all turned out. I'll get my wife to sing the ladies' part next time, as I think it would work better as a chat - up and rebuff sort of thing.

Thanks for sharing! Country meets the reggae. Where did you get the picture? Very captivating?

Sorry about the delay. I didn't think anyone was interested in this song anymore. The girls are some of my students. I didn't think they'd mind being displayed on the web. And the song is about them.

Great Job girls. It's got a nice catchy and fun feel to it. Love the reggae
background for the music. Everything works beautifully. Once again really
nice job. Congratulations

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I love doing reggae, but the inflexible GB drum machine doesn't make for the organic, loose reggae riddim we all love so much. I'll have to find a way to harness our son's drumming abilities that doesn't involve breaking the bank.

Good stuff pal. You're right about the dearth of good reggae beats on
GB,if you discover any loops or suchlike please let me know I've got a few
tunes waiting for some bottom line.

Thanks for your comments.
I've taken to rewriting GB drum loops or constructing my own using the pencil tool, but none of the results are as good as the GB drum samples or having a real drummer.
Still, it forces you to be inventive in other areas to try and make up for the drums, which isn't such a bad thing.
