Keywords:
Ambient (471)mystical (13)guitar (878)melodic (56)
Description:
This is Mysti's 'Winter's breath' track with some added ambient guitar parts and vox. I wanted to try and build upon the Eno-esque ambience of the original. I've tried not to smother the original synth melodies but add some extra ambience to the piece. Its an improvised experimental take on this...so hope you enjoy it in that spirit. Thanks again to Mystified for providing such a great source of inspiration

Such beauty - it glows.
Majestically soaring.
Breathtaking beauty.

i thought this deserved a haiku-comment :)
Amazing! (the song, not the haiku)

soaring, lovely take on Mysti's song. Love the ambientness. I think
you've added some heat to this song :D

So often.... &mdash 10/25/05 - 07:56:46 PM
...when vocals are added to something like this, it's just Enya-esque
multiply-overdubbed soprano vocals...

Hearing the deep voice here is a treat, and brings something new to
the tune...

The guitar is also really good, and I have to listen a few more times,
but I could think that even more would be great...

I like how this has ended up, and I cheerfully wend my way to its
downloadal....

Cool Collab &mdash 10/25/05 - 11:12:37 PM
Way to go Steve and Mysti! Large sound, large talents! It seems like
only Russia or Alaska would be big enough to hold this extraordinary
soundscape!

Nice &mdash 10/26/05 - 09:38:19 AM
I think the guitar bits compliment the piece well and the vocals add a
nice touch of drama. The clean guitar sound makes it bend nicely with
Mysti's piece. Enjoyed.-JAC

My MJ addiction was just peaking, my ears tender on the outside
from headphones, and tender on the inside from listening to so much
music. I just can't stop myself.

And along comes this track, which is like bathing my ears in cool
water.

The distant guitar, volume swells...bliss. *Applause*

It's been just so great to hear all these additional interpretations to the
"Winter's Breath" instrumental.
This is splendid, Steve! Absolutely cooooool.

Nice going. Thanks for taking the time to put something to the
instrumental! :)

I Like the Mix &mdash 11/01/05 - 04:48:42 AM
of your voice and guitar with the ambient swells. Very well done!
It does add a lot of warmth to the original icy feel.

Nice piece of branching out Steve - you really add something special to
the original, and managed to get the mix just right. I'm impressed!
