Tiler...Tried and True Thanks Scorp, the mix is with my more bassy mic on the left side. I had to be careful in how I placed the mcs, not to get to close. Because when you strum you have to gve some distance to the mics. But then you have to be careful not to get to far back with the mics or the fingerking will not be loud enough. Thanks for the post Scorp. --- The Tiler Check out my latest song called The Bluebird Cafe (with two other guest)

Damn Cool You put "acoustic" in your keywords twice. :) What does two mics get you? I've been thinking of doing this, so I can play with different effects and panning, but wondering why you do it. You can really play! This piece is way cool and I could dig seeing it live. I like the pace and am jealous. I'd love to be able to play anything like that! No tiles in the photo? Cool! I didn't know that Jimmy Page did much acoustic guitar. But maybe you mean his over all technique. Either way thanks andrew --- The Tiler Check out my latest song called The Bluebird Cafe (with two other guest)

great guitar work! Thanks Billl I guess I get effected by Concierto de Aranjuez, and all the terriic struming in the beginning (1st movement). I guess in my heart I am trying to do a concerto piece and put runs and strumming to exmplify Juan Rodirgo's incredible compositon and ideas. It is one of many ideas I have in regards to composing on guitar. Thanks Billl --- The Tiler Check out my latest song called The Bluebird Cafe (with two other guest)

Airplane Flies Again Bill, Love the way you can knock out a song like this when you are letting out the frustration of the day. This had a great room echo/reverb on it that gave me a psychedelic flashback to the great Jorma Kaukanoen? playing Embryonic Journey on the Jefferson Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow album. Perhaps because of the frustration factor the whole song had a rock feel to it which I loved. You just keep on keeping on which is what it is all about! How do you do it... I settle in to listen and I ponder, what could he posibly do this time in creating another piece that will likely be, brilliantly filled with character and texture, complex, yet simple, distinctly different, and unmistakably, you ... Bill, you have more flavors of sound and moods, then i knew one artist might be able to have... Really... You are one gifted soul and as well, so is anyone who is fortunate enough to get to be able to hear you on such a regular, and FREE basis. Thank you Cydniko Check out my latest song called 123 iGetU

Fresh Mountain Air Again I love the style of your this and your last song, this is so well done. I like how in some parts you pick the string quite hard and then softer the second time, and then even softer the third, almost creating an echo effect. I listened a few times and downloaded. with amazing speed... flittering about... from one thing to the next... not much time for a rest... I know the feeling. Even though the pace of this is frantic, it still feels calming. Your guitar has a tendency to do that. Check out my latest song called Gossamer dissected

Great 'offering'. I love your picking style, Bill. And the way you throw some strumming in there -- a nice addition. I really like the mix on this. Just the right touch of reverb. It gives this tune a subtle, dreamy touch -- notes float from your guitar. Makes for fun meditation as I listen to it.
A keeper. File under "That Mean and Clean, West Coast Git-picker."
