This is a great tune, and puts out a strong, positive and uplifting
message with a great R&B feel...

Terrific singing...

You know what's cool, too? When this starts up it could be vintage
Marvin Gaye or Curtis Mayfield...but it could also be The Band or early
Rod Stewart...this is a tune that can cross barriers, and find its own
place... This is the kind of song that just makes me wish I could sing
like this...

This is a nice sound CB. And it carries a nice messege too.
Your singing seems a bit more polished and theres more of a
comfortable feel overall. Dig'n all of the accompaniments. Some very
nice choices you've made here. Everything feels right. Like'n that synth
thing you got going. Did you crdate it? Dig'n the whole tune, but I
especially like the transition/brdge/breakdown toward the end. Sweet.

so long since I heard anything from you, that I don't think that I would

I play with a singer up here in the northeast that could be yer twin
brother...I've been tryuing to get him into my little studio for a while
now....

I love soul music. LOVE soul music, and have been playing it for
years...and you sure are the REAL DEAL!!! I will immediatly go and
listen to all yer stuff, and I'm soo excited! I was wondering why there
was no old time soul belters here on macjams...and here you were the
whole time!!

I hope we can hook up sometime for somethin funky

I thought I posted a comment last night but it looks like I messed up
somewhere.

Cecil- Terrific song. Once again your amazingly soulful voice outshines a
very strong rhythm track. That bass line is really excellent, btw.

So nice to hear a positive message in a song- yeah, hard work is a
positive thing. Makes you appreciate what you earn in life... for certain!
Also, I have never heard someone say "put up or shut up" so eloquently.

You have a unique voice and your background vocals compliment the
style of this song. I know there's a reminiscent sound in here somewhere
but I just can't put my ear on it. The closest I can get is Stang meets Stax.
But I like it overall. Look foward to hearing more from you.
