I made it to the next level!!! When does the 4-bit madness start??? :)
This was hype. Good job on filling my MJ excellent tune of the week
slot! Cheers.

Very nice &mdash 10/27/05 - 10:15:47 AM
Theres quite a few things I really enjoyed about this. For starters I love
the vaugness of the melody... until the accompianment comes in its
very difficult to count along to it and makes you wonder if its really in
4/4 or what... love that sort of stuff. Its also quite long, but you're
keeping it fresh and interesting the whole time without bombarding
the listener with new material all the time.

My only critism if anything, is that I can't really hear the bass notes.
I've got pretty decent headphones on, but I'm struggling to hear the
really deep tones I think you've going in this piece... I can only really
hear shadows of them as such. So unfortunately this doesn't work as
well as it could do without a subwoofer avaliable because thats where
most of your low end seems to be comming from.

There are some other things like removing the bass end attack from
the melody that I might do on other tracks but I don't think its
nessicary in this song.

Great job.

Thanks, I tried to do something a little different with the rhythm than most
electronic pieces. It is in 4/4 but anything other than 1/4 notes I put in as triplet
1/16 notes (1/12 notes) so it has a jerky feel to it held together by the kick
drum.

As for the bass, I have a mid cut on it to clean it up in the mix, but I can bring it
up a bit in the mix.

Thanks for the comments

This is a cool track. You're using a pretty minimal set of sounds, but there
is both consistency and enough variety in the material to keep me
interested. I like it that the rhythm does not use any traditional drum
sounds. That makes for a very unified sound.

Thank you.

This is still one of my favorite songs that I have made. I love the ambiguity:
nobody can tell what tempo or time signature it is in but yet everything fits and
there is no clashes.
