This is much, much better for having the real fiddle on it ... it gives it
far more expression and creativity. It's a great combination of sounds,
the wildly leaping fiddle and the very stark electronica ... both are very
intense but in very different ways. Full of energy and adrenalin. Your
playing is superb, as always. [ Reply to This ]

... and wondrous. It's great how a bit of live playing - and great playing
at that - breathes so much life into those beats. It makes the world of
difference. I wish I could do that with a violin. [ Reply to This ]

Thanks for yer feedback - I must admit there's been more going on than adding
fiddle - basically I changed everything in one way or another. And trying to get
the fiddle to fit took much more effort than I anticipated. [ Reply to This ]

love it when that fiddle comes in!! This is not my type of music, but when you add that fiddle, it is hole different story. many interesting sounds in this one. lots of energy in this, songs like this have a tendency to become a little "static" in my ears. This one didnt, you play a great fiddle there! good work! [ Reply to This ]

Interesting fusion of sounds in this racous country dance piece. Well, I assume people will automatically get up and start dancing as soon as that bass pattern and drum kicks in. There's just enough time to get up and get out onto the dance floor before the fiddle sets the reel in motion.
The dynamics are also interesting, as the disintegrating spaced-out synths pull things apart, but the Celtic pattern played by the fuzz bass, and reinforced by the fiddle, holds it together like a cold fusion.
The fuzz bass and fiddle interplay is exciting. The two instruments seem so dissimilar, yet you can tell they like playing with and off each other.
This is a wonderful musical experiment, mixing up digital electronica with violin strings to produce a contemporary futuristic fused fantasy. Whatever that means! [ Reply to This ]

Wow - thanks for sharing your thoughts about this track. I was hoping the bass
and fiddle would work, I could hear it in my head but getting it down was the
challenge.
