Description
A song about longing for escape. It's dark, but still a bit fun.

Lyrics
Sometimes I wish I could be in a cornfield
at the end of the day
and spot a UFO on the horizon
and get taken away
I want to get abducted
Say goodbye to the Earth for a night
and leave my worries behind
And when i'm floating through comets and stars so dense
Maybe it all would make sense
We'd race across the universe, see the marvelous and bizarre
And they would show me how to make s'mores on a star
They'd show me their lazers and gadgets, and technological things
after we'd burned some rubber on one of Saturn's rings
Then I'd say-
"Well, I am awfully impressed by all of your technology, but in your endless research, have you discovered what it all means?"
Then they'd just stare at me, kind of confused-ish
with their big black eyes and their almond faces
because they don't speak English.

Like the sci-fi sounds you got going there...particularly that theremin
effect -great!!. My only crit is that the vox sound a bit loud and harsh
in the mix, I would prefer to hear them pushed back with some reverb
added. Maybe you could add a second repeat vocal with echo,,,enhance
that spacy vibe?
