Description
A song about the frustrations of the daily grind, the futility found in the alternative, and the joy in realizing what you had all along.
Another live impromptu song/jam...recorded in a small dark room.
This song was slightly edited to make it shorter...about 2 minutes was cut off the end...
We are working on fleshing this one out a make a cleaner richer sounding version...
Ryan Chubb - vocals/guitar
Jared Puppe - bass
Barry Lane - drums

Nagging Questions...(lyrics slightly modified from jam)
I wanted to vent now...
Shake this useless existence - the complaints of a working man...
I drive to work - It's early in the morning
I don't want to go - Save me
I don't want to go...
I go inside, walk down the aisle
past people who don't ask questions
Ah, the droopy faces, the saddest faces you've ever seen.
Oh...I want something else...and not what they promised.
Get back to life and this journey inside...
I walked out and into what you said was gold...
And I feel so alive, now that I found this answer to that nagging question
And I want to be something more than just an answer to my sacred question...
I...feel so alive now that I found this answer inside...
...to this question of pride...
And I wanted more than what was here before you came to me...alright...alright now...

I...feel so alive now that I found this answer inside...
...to this question of pride...
And I wanted more than what was here before you came to me...alright...alright now...

nice work. I'm sure you hear the comparison a lot but early U2 obviously
springs to mind. The bass rattling the snare at the beginning was a fond
reminder of my own days in a band - i kinda love that bass buzzing the
hell out of the snare thing.
