Description:
This is the first complete song I ever wrote. It was originally completed 15 years ago and was played (badly) by various bands over the years. Beyond that, it has been gathering dust in my brain. It has finally seen the light of day and the timing couldn't be more appropriate.

Now that the darkness of Halloween has passed and the joy of the holiday season approaches, I'm feeling decidedly less morbid. This tune is a joyous romp and is about release from anything that keeps you down or holds you back. It's slightly mournful at times because in my mind this is a breakup song - it's saying goodbye for the last time.

Maybe I am still morbid...

breaking up is hard to do... &mdash 11/02/05 - 07:47:02 PM
...but taking 15 years to complete a song sounds like a real pain.
Hopefully, you have broken whatever spell curtailed song completeion
and we will hear more good tunes like this soon. Sounds real good to
me. Let's put this one in the Joyous Gothic Rock genre.

For a 15-year-old first song.... &mdash 11/02/05 - 08:01:17 PM
....it's pretty cool. I agree with Rich - happy Goth rock merged with a little
Devo. Couldn't get any better than that. I could almost hear it as a love
song being sang to my first ever computer - a Texas Instruments 99-4A,
and the twists and turns of that relationship thoughout the early to mid
80s. Very nice melodies and production. Love the crunchy synths.

This is good, and I'm not normally into pop!

Definetly sounds like it was made 15 years ago.
