Description:
First time I've ever tried to use so many loops. Never really thought there was anything to it until I actually tried! Hats off to you that are good at it. You now have my respect. It wasn't as easy as I originally thought. With a few of my right arms, the GB2 loops I've used include Shaker, Bongo Groove, Conga Something-or-other, SynthBass Sequence and a couple of others. Several of my left arms performed the very basic synth leads, basslines and a few basic drum sounds using my sexy little Oxygen8 midicontroller.
Lyrics:
There were no lyrics injured in this composition. The original idea that came before the music was that of the lonely Tinman after Dorothy left Oz for Kansas. What was she thinking? I imagined the Tinman's journey to Kansas to find his Heart's desire.... Toto! Any MacJammer interested in writing lyrics and singing them (based on this concept) is free to use the music. Please let me know when you've posted it so I can tell you what I think.

Thanks phantom. With that said, I'll continue to work with loops and hope it
does come easy SOON! I really like zooming in on them and chopping them up.
It satisfies my highly evolved robotic needs. [ Reply to This ]

What comes around, goes around. You've given me plenty of inspiration. Glad I
could return the favor! [ Reply to This ]

Well, to my complete surprise, a fellow MacJammerkin added lyrix to this
otherwise sleepy little tune and made something wonderful. Wish I
thought of it myself.

Hey! &mdash 05/21/07 - 08:30:51 AM
Your production is super in this one.
Think you could just put some trippy little phrase in the background with a lot of effect.LIKE "I'm not in Kansas anymore". Sort of chanting it and I think it would be a very good "European song"

Hey man, thanks for listening. This song has sat unnoticed for almost 2 years. I had to listen to it just to remember what it was. Maybe my songs are 3 years ahead of their time?
I might just throw some vocals on this baby and repost it with a totally different title just to see if anyone is paying attention.
I feel safe posting that here, since no one will ever see it.
