Description:
Unlucky in Love. Lucky with Cards. Lucky Joe Hung. Lucky Joe is gone. Or was it but a dream? Are playing all instruments and vocals. Had to play quite a bit of the drums on the keyboard to get them where I wanted them to be. Lyrics:
lucky joe hunglucky joe was hanging from a tree birds hid behind the clouds none knows what he did see he had closed his sore eyes lucky joe was happy to be near completion of a dream he looked up to the clouds inside of his head and then he looked down lucky joe hung from a tree in a dream within a dream lucky joe hung himself indeed hung himself from a tree lucky joe hung lucky joe was hanging from a tree when the sun broke the clouds birds where singing and he felt free hanging in his tree lucky joe was happy to see all the beauty in the beast before he turned to the last page of lucky joe's dream © MKN05 Hardware:

repetition of the "Lucky Joe" hook gets a bit much for me, but I
suppose it makes it a good singalong/swingalong song. I like the
energy of instrumentation and voice. Your voice really captures the
rawness of the terrible event. I am pleased to see the "dream within a
dream" line here. I just recorded Edgar Allen Poe's "A Dream Within a
Dream". It is only within this metaphysical construct that we are able to
make Lucky Joe happy in the throes of death.
