...you should definitively sing on all of your songs. You've got a great voice.
Again, full 8, 5x. [ Reply to This ]
Jeez... &mdash 11/04/05 - 06:08:12 AM
Thanks for the undeserving praise. I was expecting the opposite as I reluctantly
uploaded the song. My cold is so bad that I couldn't even speak this week, so I
decided it was the perfect condition to attempt to sing one of my new songs. I
don't know about you, but when I'm playing guitar or bass, I can sing anything,
but when I write songs on my computer, suddenly vocals are the most difficult
thing to fit in. Maybe my songs are too full to fit words in? Hmmm.... Might try
to put the vocals in with one of the first tracks and then work the rest of the
song as normal. Thanks for the comment, and thanks for inspiring me to sing!
Hope you like my real voice when it's not sick. [ Reply to This ]

I am practically certain I will like your real voice, just let me hear it on your next song... [ Reply to This ]
definetely different &mdash 11/04/05 - 01:56:15 AM
The vocal timing has a Talking Heads approach, that I like. The atonal
melody is weird.

What About The Vocals? &mdash 01/18/07 - 02:06:23 PM
Don't you think the vocals are great too?
Thanks, Lined Up Dead Pixies.......

This is pretty far out, Bob - sounds a little like Nick cave and laurie Anderson down the disco. The break is great, and I thought the song would kick back in , but then you stopped it??!!
Actually, pretty good structure too.
Drums sound awesome.

2 Minute Rule &mdash 03/03/07 - 11:38:50 AM
In typical punk rock fashion, I made this song about 2 minutes long. I mean, really, how many more times could I have said "She wore a Pink Dress"?
I had a bit of a cold and my voice sounded so odd that I had to write a song to sing while I sounded so strange. I wish I sounded as rich as Nick Cave.
Thanks for listening. I haven't listened to it for quite some time. IT'S OLD!!

Stalkings &mdash 04/16/07 - 03:54:39 PM
You know, I'm almost embarrassed to say, but I love being stalked. Thanks for taking the time to listen to these forgotten songs of mine. I had no audience to force any of these songs on, so I'm really happy to have anyone volunteer to hear them and actually comment.

Pink Dress &mdash 05/09/07 - 10:14:51 AM
Okay, now that I listened to your 1992 song, I decided to listen to more. My next selection was Pink Dress. A wonderful song. However, I can't help but be a little perturbed.
You see, my wife wore a pink dress at our wedding, due to some indiscretions that forbade her from wearing white.
Perhaps if this song were available to be 10 years ago my marriage could some how been salvaged as we reminisced about our nuptals ove a bottle of burgundy.
Thanks for coming to close the barn door, now where's that horse?.........Weirdo!!! [ Reply to This ]

Glad you liked the song, Mister Mustard Seed.
Pink Dress has been played at many a wedding reception as the bride cartwheeled down the aisle. In fact, it's recently replaced Lionel Ritchey's "Endless Love" as the most popular wedding song ever.

Thanks for responding to my post. I really enjoy the free exchange of ideas. Who's Lionel Richey? Is he divorced? I bet his bank account wasn't sucked dry!!!
I gotta go, thanks for excavating old bitterness that to date was suppressed.........Rummy!!! [ Reply to This ]
Any Stranglers fans there?? &mdash 05/12/07 - 10:00:04 AM
How much does Bob remind you of Hugh Cormwell on 'Fool Rush Out" (B-side of Duchess). I think this demands a tip of the Meninblack hat and gets done in that style.
I'm doing it right now... [ Reply to This ]

What's the verdict on the new treatment?
I think this is the smartest bit of GB-ing I've ever pulled off.
Cheers, dude! [ Reply to This ]
