Description:
There have been several iterations of this song, but this is by far the best. Now featuring vocals by cjhoose
Lyrics:
When I look outside I see golden horses
and I watch them fly...
Oh teach me how to ride away
on those golden horses!
Oh teach me how to ride.
Look at the clear blue sky... can you take me up there?
Teach me how to fly...
But maybe I’ll just ride away
on a golden horse of my own.
Maybe I will ride away
and never come home...
Can you catch me a golden horse?
Can you teach me to how to ride?
Can you give me your heart?
It’s the only way I will not ride.

ride on the wind &mdash 11/04/05 - 03:01:23 PM
"It%u2019s the only way I will not ride." -- excellent turnabout on that last
line. Powerful prairie of sound. I feel uplifting wind, enduring muscle,
rosy flesh, flowing mane, dreamy longing. CJ Hoose, your voice is
gracile and tempered at the same time. Almost as if you are weakened
from a lack of love...but yet have enough inner resolve to project your
voice across plains and canyons. Very evocative and full of imagery as I
listen. [ Reply to This ]
Marvellous!! &mdash 11/04/05 - 03:12:49 PM
Great track - great collab...superb vocals CJ! You are getting so much
more confident as a vocalist and you have such a great, distinctive
voice too
Nice one guys!

Perfect contrast of sweet vocal and gritty guitar playing. That's a powerful
combination. Beautifully done and very creative! [ Reply to This ]

Nice &mdash 11/05/05 - 06:11:14 AM
Nice collab Steve and cj. It%u2019s seems to be an interesting hybrid
between New Age and Soft Rock. Like the music and mix, it provides a
nice atmosphere for cj%u2019s voice to work in. I%u2019ve always felt cj has a
wonder voice that seems to works it%u2019s way inside you and takes you
along for the ride. Nice work both of you.-JAC [ Reply to This ]
magical combo here &mdash 11/05/05 - 10:29:58 AM
Stevec, you're finding some interesting harmonic movement
with your playing in this piece, but cjhoose's vocals are pushing
it farther, and in a very good way. I think this is the most
fruitful vocalist combination for you thus far. This is a drop-dead
gorgeous blend of talents. [ Reply to This ]

Nice tune, very original with the riding on the range feel using dark
chords. 10 on originality. Thanks for sharing
