Nice song.. &mdash 11/05/05 - 02:57:26 PM
I would give you a good rating if I could.
There is a nice balance in there and some subtle insrumentation. I'm not much into this kind of music, but it reminds me of Royksopp (sic?).
The part toward the end when you start modulating on that arpeggio, i like it when you kick in the blues note (toward the end)... maybe it could be louder? It's a nice touch.
Good stuff. [ Reply to This ]

wow - crazy that you pulled the rokysopp out of there... I've been
listening to their new CD repeatedly lately. Thanks for the good
feedback - looking forward to hearing your songs.

First of all &mdash 11/05/05 - 07:10:15 PM
I listen to this genre almost next to never. But it seems whenever I do I'm
pleasantly surprised. That's the case here. One thing I really like about
this is the mellow, almost ambient rhythm. The rise and fall of the synth
made me think of the ocean for some reason. Very nice mellow song- a
lot of ways you could take this if you wanted... I'm hearing a female vocal
somewhere. Good stuff! [ Reply to This ]
I have the new Royksopp too &mdash 11/05/05 - 09:10:28 PM
I particularrly like "Is There anything More?"
As for this...love it. You should be proud of this.
Flows nicely. I also notice an old Aphex Twin Style beat in the back off of
Aphex Twin's first album. The delicate nature of this song put me in a
good place tonight. Don't you just live the Korg? I wish i had one. I am
eyeing the Korg Vocorder. It's on sale now!
Anyhow, fav'd. downloaded.

very smooth, light longing &mdash 11/05/05 - 09:23:43 PM
There's something about this that tugs gently, floating along but
unraveling hope and absorbing regret, but with sparkles of sunshine
along the way. Very enjoyable gentle piece of PeopleMover music. I am
moved.

This is just what I needed to sooth my tired brain. I really like the fact that this is not overstated at all. It gets better as it goes along. It's now on my favorites list. This was a great listen! [ Reply to This ]
no assembly required &mdash 02/15/06 - 08:11:00 PM
I really like what you've got going on in here. The melody is so
beautiful and the sweet punctuations 2/3rd's in is delightful. I think
you have an exceptional ear. I really like how you give full thought to
the musical expressions of the instruments, very careful and deliberate
without feeling inhibited in any way. I'm sold my friend. Thanks, kellli
