I was listening to this track, and reading the comments. When
I read Tobin's claim that the remix was better I was in a genuine
state of disbelief...because I was really getting into this one.

But after listening to the remix, I have to agree that the remix
brings it alive.

Now I'm back listening to this version again, though, and I've
almost forgotten why I liked the remix better!

Amanda, your voice really brings this song alive.

The metaphor is a bit opaque to me, though. I just don't
understand what it is that the protagonist wants delivered.
Whatever it is, somebody better give it to her quick!
