Description
John Chakeres was kind enough to put some guitar and bass on my vocal track "Lulluby". Don't be scared... muahahaha... ;)

Lyrics
Lulluby, lulluby
You were there
and now you’re here again.
Lulluby, lulluby...
I remember you so well.

Lulluby, lullaby
You’ll be my final lulluby.
I just want to hear you once again
before i die...

Lulluby, lulluby
let me hear you before I die
I was there when you began
and you were there
before I was.

Lulluby, lulluby
you are so familiar.
Lulluby, lulluby
let me go into the sky

Lulluby, lulluby
let me hear you before I die.

Lulluby, lulluby...
lulluby, lulluby
let me die.

Lulluby lulluby
let me hear you befoe I die.
Lulluby lulluby
let me hear you befoe I die.

once again...
once again...
once again...
once again...
Once again.

Actually . . .
I wouldn't mind seeing the lyrics.

This macabre treatment of an often sacred cow of music is bloody
brilliant. I would like to know if a couple of words I'm guessing at are
the right ones.

Actually . . .
There, I've finally put the lyrics up. :)

Thank you snowdragon... chakeres really put that extra edge to it.

Haunting
Voice is fragile and floating. Guitar addition is very good idea - makes it
kind of a Southern Death Lullaby.

Eerie, indeed
Great guitar additions, chak - really add to the eeriness of this.
Great vocals, cj - very haunting.
Great job, the both of you!

I love...
....how u break the 'rules' of songwriting and just go your own way
completely! Very eerie and spaced out track - loved your voice on it CJ.
And of course....great guitar from Chak...accompanies the song well :-)

Mysterious
This is another originally played tune with the dark sounding chords.
Definitely has your own style. Nice job thanks for sharing.

You'll forgive me...
...if I say that I think that this is brilliant, and then don't download it... For
the same reason I don't watch scary movies with my wife...

This is perfectly rendered... the guitar stuff is a perfect complement... it's
all of a piece, a well rendered whole... AND SCARY....

Wow. Boy. I'm going for a cup of warm milk now, turning on as many
lights as possible along the way...

Tinglin'
I approached this with some trepidation as I was worried that adding
guitar to this would ruin it. But how wrong could I be. Chakeres you are
to be congratulated - a very sympathetic addition to an already wonderful
song.

HORROR FANTASTICAL!
I was standing on the kitchen sink dribblin juice down the drain! Perfect for a horrror movie! I just pulled out the clever! Is there someone in the house? hello who's there? Very cool demon seeds!

Heheh
This almost slipped by me. Very cool, in a demented girl kind of way. Hmmm... makes you think. I really like the guitar and singing, nice spooky. John, you're good at those weird notes aren't you??

thoughts from the bull...
another terrific gem deep in the vault of CJ Hoose!

this is a real expansion from everything else I've heard of yours, though it isn't surprising at all.

it's an interesting and unique collaboration which works very well!

nicely performed! thx U!

Another good...
piece of music C.J. Keep doing what you do - I know music is so much more to you than just to find fame and fortune. It is more of a spiritual journey and a way of self expression. I get it now more than ever. Very good work here.

I first came to MacJams Oct. 2004, didn't start becoming active until the following spring. I have had bad habits of deleting huge amounts of music from my page from time to time, some unrecoverable. Found my first love/boyfriend here in 2005 -... [see more]
