Good ideas, give them time to develop rather than throwing 'sound
darts' onto your recording canvas.

Uh, I guess the dog w/its puppies in the photo has something to do w/
this piece (...feeding time,perhaps...?)

the dog is just the best pic i had that had anything to do with the song. this was one of my first times using loops, i was rather pleased i managed to make anything lol for my first few tries. i accidently didn't lower the volume of one thing tho. i dont have a program so i had to search the web for the sounds i wanted so it was a little hard to get exactly what i wanted. but perhaps i shall look at my industrial tracks again and see if i can remember what i used and re work them.

... I see that the thirst is strong in this young one...but drink slowly,
and relish each mouthful...yes, slower to slake doth longer the
pleasure make...

More or less cohesive structure? &mdash 11/18/05 - 08:41:07 PM
Of your tracks I've listened to thus far this one has the tightest groove
and cohesion between the sound effects and song content. You have
some pretty cool things going on in here, including some interesting
rhythm breaks and accents and a great use of that fat synth in the
background.

In one sense your songs are non-linear and I like that. There isn't much
in the way of repeatiing themes or a "story arc." I get the impression
you dive in and work front to back based on a "what would sound good
next" approach. In another sense I'd be interested to hear something
from you that was more structured, with a repeating chorus and
variations on a verse. Either way, your stuff is engaging for the shear
joy of the creative process coming through the speakers.

More or less cohesive structure? &mdash 11/19/05 - 09:25:31 AM
yes, for these types of songs i need to think more in a chorus verse type way. this is the second experiment i ever did with loops so it was with a more lets see what sounds good idea. i'm going to try and have some more structured stuff. my accoustic songs are alot more structured. i just one day thought hey i'll try some songs with loops. and these are what came out/

Love the beat... &mdash 01/15/06 - 06:54:24 PM
...but the sounds behind it are top-notch. Has a great "horror-film" feel to it, and it was also released just 5 days after Halloween. :D

Like I said, it's a good title, because it sounds like you're murdering a
bear.

This is correctly described "An industrial song, with a morbid underlying theme." Nice in my headphones.

really cool polyrhythms in the percussion, tight reversed sounds. hehe, really fun synths. messy, but what good bear murder isn't? ;)
