Description:
Well...I managed to overcome a serious case of creative block. This is a cool smoother track. It came after alot of creative frustration. It's a bit different from what I normally make (I think), but it was in me, so now I give you a piece of my mind. P.S. The eye belongs to my cat, Scrappy. He's one of the most peaceful guys I know. I hope you like the track. If you have the time, please comment. I need the feedback to help me evolve.

Keep the Echoes &mdash 11/08/05 - 02:08:20 AM
I like the effects/ noises of echoes you added at the end. When I was first making music I always thought that extra unneeded "junk" like that was completely unnecessary. I've come to realize though, that sometimes more is more. Maybe try bringing in those kinds of sounds earlier in the piece, it was my favorite part. It gave the song a more varied texture.

dubby jazz &mdash 11/10/05 - 08:06:05 PM
you know the only thing I could say about this song is that it could use a mild bit of variance. I actually don't mind repetition on a great groove. however some change in tempo round mid section and maybe some sampled vocals that are heavily treated could give this a polished feel. otherwise awesome groove.

a bit repetitive; needs more percussion &mdash 11/15/05 - 12:14:46 AM
it's a decent sketch, but needs a lot of work.
-different drum tracks: try experimenting with multi-layered drums.
-more breaks
-throw some melody on top of the chord progression.

what you have is one, long "A" section. you need a "B" section (at least).
try mapping your arrangement. for example:
8 measures: intro
8 meas.: A section
4 meas: break
8 meas: B sect.

you get the idea...

now, get back to work; you've got a potentially great track in your hands!!

filter love &mdash 12/15/05 - 12:46:26 PM
I dig that automatic Filter? over the main melody. Well done. Thanks for
the cool tracks. I have little musical experience but wanted to share my
comments with you regardless. Praise God.
