Description:
All parts of the song come from Garageband loops. I modified them quite a bit in a few parts to allow them to fit better into the overall melody, as well as give the song a path and a climax, instead of just adding layers of repitition. I like the Oriental strings, although I'm thinking about changing them as well as the bells' melodies - or simply into other instruments altogether. Comments anyone?

Help With Loops &mdash 11/08/05 - 01:52:22 AM
Just keep fiddling with them. You'll get the hang of em sooner or later. Double click on the loop itself to edit the individual notes (if it's green) - and you probably already know that. Where it gets tricky is when you want to modify the blue loops, in which you have to zoom in on the loop, isolate each individual note, slice the loop apart to isolate that note, and then transpose it. And after this is done you can't extend the loop, you have to copy and paste the while section (which is now more than one loop) where you want it. I think I've got an ear for transposition of the notes, I can hear what fits, and even this is incredibly frustrating to do at times, so good luck with it, but keep at it, it adds a whole new layer to your music. Let me know if you're still interested or need anything else.
