Description:
I was introduced to this band 'Barky' on MySpace, was instantly hooked on this tune, covered it, and sent it in to them in the span of about 7 hours. They enjoyed it and encouraged me to post if I was inclined, so here ya go!

I highly recommend listening to the original: it's a guitar/bass/drum trio piece that is actually played even faster (the lead line is just as you hear it and is all guitar at 133 bpm, instead of my version's 120 bpm). It's quite impressive to hear, so have a peek at http://www.myspace.com/barky

5 seconds into this and I was hitting the download button. I love
everything about this!!! Put a huge smile on my face! Can't believe how
cool a celtic 8-bit track could sound. Cheers on such an excellent
track!

Very nice. It's like a big run on sentence that just won't let you
go. Great, I love it.

Nice analog synth sound. A bit too distorted on the drum track, but I
guess that's the genre you are working, eh?

Yeah, the distortion is intentional, although I'm still working on how to control it
in just the right way. I like how it causes the kick drum to interfere with the
cymbal crashes though... that's what I was after.

Thanks for the comment!

Viva la square! Nice warm fuzz on the drums. For digital distortion, it's good to go manual in the fuzz box and do it yourself. Google search Camel Crusher, a free audio unit that gives you some great distorted sound. Then compress the crap out of the track. Sorry if you already know this. ~_^
