Description:
A new version of Bells and Spells with Rollo's generous additions.

Sounds good to me! Hope you enjoy! :D

Lyrics:
o start with a smile
make us laugh like two playing children
In the dark of the room
make us fall like dreams,
if we dare to be moon in the sky,
my evening star.

Put your eyes in the heart
make them see what i feel
if they don't you must learn
to be the guide in the night
light my life, don't make me blind
be my sight
my evening star.

To end with a smile
make us cry like two little children
in the bright, under the sun
make us see the doom
If we dare to be the clouds in the sky
my evening star.
Now learn to fly
don't just walk like an ancient czar
in the streets make them see that you are mine
if we dare to scream aloud
we are one
my evening star.

Evening star, like the jewel you are.
Evening scar, like a knife in the heart.
And to be your gold,
and to feel the cold in your cell,
i only feel bells and spells.

wow &mdash 11/08/05 - 06:56:44 PM
I like the ambient children and rainstick sound. The choir mixed with CJ's?
ambient vocals is amazing. The timpani hits toward the middle are great
too. This carries a middle eastern feel to it almost. Rollo's vocals seem
almost robotic somehow. There is a real wind chime feel in this song at
places also.

pinkfloyd sound.. &mdash 11/08/05 - 08:03:53 PM
the intro makes me think of pink floyd with the drum sound of NIN it sounds awsome to me. the vocals sorta sound dark and like voltaire, i like it

So much going on &mdash 11/08/05 - 09:34:31 PM
This is got so much great stuff in it. The music just swirls and wraps
around you as you listen. The long intro is great for setting the mood for
this piece. The lyrics are great and I love the delivery. Some very
interesting things vocally going on throughout. It's a little unnerving, but
in a way I really, really like.

Way cool &mdash 11/09/05 - 12:05:17 AM
way, man, way. The textures and harmonies are really nice. It's all very tinkly and high end, which works. The vocals work really well. The mix is unique, like it eludes context... not a live act, not a soundtrack exactly... more like music that appears, fully formed in your mind out of nothing but invisible mysterious forces. The scars are out tonight!

Love the sound, love the voice, love the spirit.
Good work. You two make a really nice couple (musically speaking).

lush and sparse &mdash 11/10/05 - 06:14:24 PM
at the same time. Great use of sound and space some of this really takes me back some years to the latter half of the eighties. I'm thinking like Graham Lewis of He Said and Wire. if you haven't listened to him try to find some.

Halloween &mdash 11/12/05 - 12:03:40 PM
This starts out with the mysterious shimmering of cheer then gradually
transforms into gloom, like a dark cloud that gathers above with the
threat of impending storm and doom. Very creepy and eerie. Very
original and creative. This can be a background sound in some kind of an
underground diabolical ritual... Love it!

But I won't let my mom catch me listening to this...

The lion roars, the eagle soars.
