Description
This is an idea I threw together last night. It is my guitar layered a bunch of times with a few guitar harmonies.

I basically postedthis because I think it may have potential and would love if fellow Macjamers could help give ideas for direction of this piece. Thanks!!!

potential
seems it would work with some good mellow lyrics, maybe a bit sorrowful even. or romantic or something. i could see some nice piano and keyboard parts in there as well. the guitar sort of sounds like a piano at parts. i think it has potential.

I love it.
I Think it should be kept an instrumental. I wouldn't mind adding electric
guitar parts to it. It is a really moving piece.

Thanks!

awesome feel
it has a really great reflective feel to it. if i were writing for it, i may
include very minimalist lyrics, maybe one or two repeated lines. i agree
with ChrisKevin, some sort of light electric guitar lead, something pretty
spacy, could certainly enhance the feel of whats there

as far as production goes, i would add some compression, maybe a touch
of eq work, and maybe a really light, low density reverb just to bring out
the space a little more.

nice work!

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the comments. I also found it to be very reflective. I'll definately consider the reverb and the elec guitar. Also some light touches on the ivories (piano) might due the trick.

Please keep the comments coming :D !!

Good Tune
I like the simplistic tones, brings a smile to my face. Keep up the great work.

What type of microphone did you use for the acoustic?

Good Tune
thanks.... my guitar (seen in the pict above) is an acoustic electric. I think I just used the built in pickup. no mic.
