Lyrics
photograph

every time i pass by
the coffee shop that we used to hop in
i cant help looking for your figure
though i know that you wont be there

every saturday i have to say
that im gonna be okay
but my heart betrays
and gives me so much pain

and i try to hold on to
what is left with me here
is your photograph

every thing that reminded me of you
i had to threw it all away
because i was so weak without you with me
i had to get over you

but i try to hold on to
what is left with me here
is your photograph

Very sweet
You're truly a great songwriter.
Your stuff sounds really pro - every aspect of it.
I really liked the strings in the background - very smooth.
Excellent track!

Just right!
Lovely melody - beautifully performed and produced. Guitar is
beautifully recorded - strings unpretentious and perfectly weighted.
Great harmony work. You have a real talent, its no susprise you are
doing so well with your music!
Well done, Neil

Wonderful
JH, this is beautiful! Wonderful slow build. The addition of the strings is
just the right touch to embrace the listener. Great playing and singing.
This is one of my very favorites of yours.

My only complaints are really with the reverb. To me it just sounds like
WAY too much reverb overall. Also, it cuts off at the end because you
didn't let the reverb finish sounding. If you really want to use that much
reverb then you need to at least let the reverb finish before ending the
track. ... In this case it could take 20 minutes for that ;-) .

I'm glad to know you are releasing a CD. That's great!

Wonderful
hello pdgreenston! thank you very much for taking time to comment!
im really glad that you liked this one. hope the quality of my song got
a little closer to yours.

too much reverbs? hmm.... yes. i think i know what you mean.
i guess i wanted to cover my lame vocals.... ill definitely look into it!
thanks!

oh by the way, my CD is only released through Japanese version of
macjams.com to raise some funds for the site. so its pretty much
self-release. no big deal. but thank you for your comment!

Lovely and drenched with ambience
I really liked it. Your quirky chord changes made it so you didn't quite
know what was coming around each reverb drenched corner.
I find the reverb to be great....as if you are in a cave somewhere
overlooking a scottish lake, with myst rising on it, all the while strumming
your guitar, and serenading the dawn.

Cheers!
