Description:
This is a first result of the collaboration between K.I.S.M.E.T. and core. She originally sang the vocal track for a different song of mine, which is yet to be released in its final format.

The track has been entirely produced in Garageband, including mastering.

If you choose to download this track, please keep it for yourself and don't spread it on peer to peer networks. K.I.S.M.E.T. and I are intending to publish this song and it would hurt that process.

That's the stuff... &mdash 11/14/05 - 11:47:54 AM
I love that beat! Reminds me of 80's new wave, then kicks right into some
trancy vibe. Definitely some strong production coming out of this one and
really nice to hear some unique female vocals on this track.

Let me know when you publish it, I'd buy it.

hehe - I'll buy your track releases too. We'll live off buying our own stuff.

That being said, I first need to find a label... Too bad I'm not in SF anymore. I'd
have the energy and confidence now to look into more collaboration projects
with you as well, packosmokes.

And you're right. It's only the beat that's Breaks, but it has Trance and Ambient
elements. What I personally like are the synthesizer sounds, which have
something dry and "modern" to me.

This track would give... &mdash 11/14/05 - 02:48:44 PM
Fischerspooner a run for their money! Vintage yet modern. Production
is great and everything is very tight!!! Cheers!

Tight. &mdash 11/14/05 - 04:44:34 PM
Pro, fo' sho'. I know it's typical of the genre, but it gets a little
monotonous.. that is, until the quiet parts enter toward the end. I really
like those breaks. It's a very cool amalgamation of digi & analog sounds.
A very sexy production all around. Great job you two!

Craftsmanship! &mdash 11/18/05 - 10:41:03 PM
Killer production, especially considering you managed it through GB.
Excellent beat and use of bass. You really worked those synths. Great
details and subtleties. That flanging/phasing is tasty. Yeah, really nice
details throughout. VERY thoughtful production! Never a dull moment,
but never crowded.

The vocals are a great fit. Sexy and subversive.

I do kind of long for a distinct "middle eight" somewhere. Maybe a
middle passage with a break out vocal melody to give it a distinct
"here, there, and back again" story. Great vibe as is. Great work you
two!

Thanks to everyone who complimented my voice. Core, as you should
know, Core is an excellent producer and it was a pleasure to work with
him. He worked some of his magic on this track for sure, as I sang parts
of these lyrics for a different song....a pleasing coincidence if I do say so.

Core....Bravo my friend!

I assume oldskool is good. It is by my terms... ;)

Thanks for your comments. I was just contemplating about a remix with a
radically different drum set.

Yet Another hidden track &mdash 01/13/06 - 07:41:47 AM
Very retro. But in a great way! Another great collab.
Almost reminds me of Berlin to be honest. But a non commercial Berlin if that makes sense. I enjoyed this much.
