I wanted to wait and add lyrics to this, but, if I wait I'll never post it (too busy). So, this will have turned into an excuse for toom uch guitar playing...LOL. I plan on leaving this one open to collaboration. Send lyrics if you have a chance.

nice beat &mdash 11/14/05 - 09:31:36 PM
it's got a good beat and. it sounds like it could be in a detective or murder
movie. this is the song where they all make the move on the suspect to
apprehend him.

Difficult to categorize &mdash 11/19/05 - 01:14:33 PM
I'm not sure this song belongs in the hard rock/metal category. In fact, I'm not sure in which category this song belongs, and that's a good thing. It has a 70's vibe in the rhythm section, kind of like a 70s cop show soundtrack, or maybe an adult film score. I wonder if you've looked into providing music for production music libraries? This song would probably do well.

Thank you, that is very encouraging! I chose the drum loops for their very real
sound. That is something that does date to the 70's. Then I harmonized the
guitar parts in 3rds. I live in Jacksonville florida, so, a real straight ahead
southern rock production just seemed natural, even though this is far from
southern rock. You might hear Jeff Beck's influence in my playing. I have tried
to keep it simple but with a twist here and there. I try no to cope his licks
directly. Production music is something I would like to do very much, reality
is "I may never get to be a rock star" LOL. That was difficult to say! Anyways, I
deeply appreciate all feedback good or back I am still learning.

"Bad boys, bad boys..." &mdash 11/29/05 - 04:10:38 PM
This would be ideal for some kind of a cop show.
I liked your use of loops. They usually tend to get repeatitive and boring,
but you managed to avoid that. Perhaps it was the diversity...
Nice guitar playing, as well.
But, yeah, I don't think this belongs in the hard rock category, either...
...can't give you any pointers on that, though :)
Good job.
