Where have you been First- This will be the third song you've posted that will make it into iTunes and onto the iPod. Both Dreamin' Eyes and Deanu Majja are already there. You have great music sensibility- this song has a very catchy hook and an awesome melody. I like the way this is arranged but would like to hear the acoustic version the way you had planned. Solid Great voice, great hook in the chorus. Nothing wrong with your use of loops and effects -- sounds great. You know, this could actually be remixed to fit several different genres. It could be a sweat-soaked southern blues-rock ballad (a la Lynyrd Skynyrd), or a thundering metal power ballad, or anything else. That's because the pure songwriting itself is so damn good! cool singin Like the style of the voice, I really can hear Van Morrison in parts of your voice. I don't know if you where thinking of him when you were singing or studied him in the past but that comes out in this song. This is an impressive soft rock type song. Very melodic Really nice stuff here. I dig the acoustic in the back ground filling in the spaces. The drums are tight, Everything sounds so well mixed and there is so much Feel to this song. It's a very catchy pop song. The chorus has a nice hook. Good lyrics. I like
the harmonies you use throughout, especially on the second verse. Maybe
bring the harmony up just a bit there? I can see where the simplest song
can get out of hand once you start adding things, but I like really like the
sound you've come up with. Definitely enjoyed it.
