Description:
I love composing with a bit of romance, emotion and hopefully some upliftment in Jam pack 4. I wanted to bring out the flavor of the guitar as well.
Nature, woods, trees, forrests always intrique me. So why not make something related to it, so I tried and hopefully you'll get something out of this piece as well. Maybe this piece will take on a different feeling for you.

Hope you like piece.

Very nice. &mdash 11/18/05 - 09:22:26 AM
Good blend of strings, etc. into guitar.

A depth of contentedness and mystery, like the closeness of mist in the
woods.

I'm already excited about the next movement... &mdash 11/18/05 - 09:24:56 AM
A phenomenal piece of work. Yes, there are more superlative where
that came from too, just keep up this excellent musicianship, please.

I love the orchestrated textured movement in this piece and how your
guitar playing complimented it so well. It all provided that sort of
mystical feel that often times overwhelms me when I've been out and
hiking in the beautiful 'almost' wilderness in the northwestern parts of
the states here. It was perfectly portrayed in this piece. It's the type of
composing that would go on in my mind, but that I could never bring
to fruition outside of my head. Thank you for that and thank you for
sharing another excellent piece of work. It sounds as if there's more to
come of this suite... I'm on seats edge...

Smooth Composing &mdash 11/18/05 - 12:52:07 PM
Beautiful sounds that fill the room. Must be the Tiler, yep another great
guitar tune! Keep em coming.

I pretty much live in the forest &mdash 11/18/05 - 06:36:15 PM
And this one would be perfect for one of those IMAX movies where the
camera flies through the topography, with scene changes matching the
various movements in the music.

Strangely enough, as natural as this one sounds, it almost made me
think Disney could have used it in Fantasia.

Nice job T.

Right up my alley.. &mdash 11/18/05 - 07:05:15 PM
.... and in my back yard (so to speak). This very much evokes standing
in the midst of the forests of the Northwest. Great job with Jam Pack 4!

Big. Really, really big. &mdash 11/18/05 - 09:07:11 PM
I love the depth and playful experimentation/interplay between the
guitar and orchestration. Your guitar compositions are amazing as solo
pieces and the orchestration adds a further epic dimension. I hope
you'll explore this format further, perhaps adding more integration,
such as exchanging supporting roles between the guitar and strings.
As always, your work is humbling to those of us who approach guitar
through pick and power chords!

Thanks chik

I really love doing this type of stuff. Years ago I studied some of Juan Rodrigo's
compositions and it really dawned on that some of his compositions were the
ultimate in beautiful guitar music.

Great idea &mdash 12/04/05 - 03:31:45 PM
I love your stuff - I never know what to expect. I liked the guitar in this best. Sometimes the orchestra worked but at other times it seemed a bit detached from guitar. Or perhaps it's supposed to be like that.
