Sounds like your still recording vocals through that pinhole mic on
your iBook. I could hear every time you chopped up the vocals to kill
the hum, I know from experience how much fun that is. I wouldn't
jump to call it final, but if I had a bowl to pack I'd have been jammin'.

have to mention this is outside my comfort area... and so I don't have
much to compare it to... but that said, the rap is well-rhymed, I liked
the occasional dramatic pauses. Sounded like you ran out of breath
there at one point though, may want to practice delivery a little more.
Interesting piano/flute accompiment, a little repetitive, but not too
bad.

this track is very derivitive. for a guy with a 12" ibook g4, an m audio O2 usb midi keyboard and high speed internet access, i'm guessing that the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning is jump out of bed and run to your intro to psych course or something. was this track recorded in your dorm room? first semester away from home?

seriously. try to write something a bit more believable. check out mr. lif's album 'i phantom' and take notes (track 5 in particular). yours is the kind of hip hop that sets the genre back and gives it less credibility. listen to some good hip hop, work on your flow, and check back with some new stuff.

favorite hip hop: aesop rock, APC, El-P/CoFlo, mf doom/madvillain, mr lif.
