My 12-year-old daughter is a cheerleader for our school. The squad has a "feature" number they used to do, where each girl has her own thing to say. As I have listened to this cheer over the course of a few weeks, I began to think, "This sounds good, but it needs some backing tracks!" So I took my portable MiniDisc recorder and captured their voices, and took it home and worked up a track in GarageBand to share with the girls. So at the end of the season, I gave each girl a CD of this track as a memento of the season. They are a great squad.
Some of the girls did not speak exactly in tempo, so I had to do a fair amount of audio-time-shifting to make the girls speak with the beat. With GarageBand, it was easy (though time-consuming).

That is real nice to do this for the school. Nice piece of kindred talent.
Really sounds like they are having a terrific time. What's real priceless is
that they really are having fun. Love that crowd sound at the end as well.
Nice going, what a joy I'll bet you had doing this and seeing there
excitment hearing them to the music.
