professional sound.Very well put together..I'm picturing sky diving , rock clombing, and surfing...WAy to shift it into overdrive..love this song...Will add to my collection
perceptualvortex
Cool, Steve and I also think high-energy outdoor fun with this tune. Glad
you like this enough to add to your collection Pyro, thanks man!

I'm so jealous of your production ability. You've gotten so much into
the space between my ears and it's all crystal clear. Amazing use of
the sonic space, PV.
Killer guitar, cover art, drums (duh!) and I love the rhythm guitar under
the guitar solo in the middle of the song. Your collabs with Vac are
great, keep them coming.
Did I mention that I like this? :-)
perceptualvortex
Thank you, ledeb I really appreciate that. I think your own production
ability is amazing, so it's nice to hear that from you. As ever, Steve and I
had a great time making this. I'm glad you're liking our tunes!
Audiologic
Awesome guitar, drums, bass line, everything. It is all so crisp and synced
very well.
perceptualvortex
Cool, thank you walkingstick! I appreciate you listening, commenting and
faving this. Glad you enjoyed it.
aclarke
Guys this song completely smokes! Really great stuff- outstanding
production and a great song to drive down the highway too. This one is
pure adrenaline!
Noel Project
We here at the Noel Project enjoyed this energetic piece, but also must admit
to some envy, David. Even jealousy. Why does no one ever refer to our songs
as "Kickin-A!"? Or kicking anything? Excellent job, you and Steve.
perceptualvortex
Heh, thank you Noel, I'm glad you like our song. I think that, officially, a
song has to have loud, wailing electric guitars in it to be referred to as
"kickin-a". I'll have to check. Maybe those Christmasy tunes could use
more loud, wailing electric guitar? Thank you Mr. Project, I appreciate you
stopping for a listen!
perceptualvortex
Ah yes, adrenaline and driving... I think you caught the spirit of the tune! Thanks Adam, glad you enjoy this!
hacked_to_pieces
classic rock song remains me of my H.S. days. The production is very
smooth great job guys.

Ha, maybe you can tell that Steve and I ate lots of classic rock growing up.
Thank you hacked, I'm glad you like this!
caroline
now this is something the bear and i can bounce to - this'll keep us warm in the snow!! thank you - we've taken a copy so that we can keep dancing! xxx
perceptualvortex
Caroline, I'm so pleased that this is pink enough for you. I hope our song
keeps you and the bear dancing through the winter. Thanks!
drakonis
Very catchy rocker... reminds me of Galilleo's dying defiant words... "It
Moves!" Absolutely nothing I can think of not to like about this, except
possibly move the hi-hats back very slightly, the constant hissy-hits
were a little hot... but this was a super tune! Awesome work, great
guitar/bass playing, super writing!
ttfn,
Drakonis
perceptualvortex
That's a good suggestion, thank you. I'm glad you like this song and find it
catchy. Cool that you're reminded of Galileo; the poor fellow wasn't
expecting the Spanish Inquisition! My thinking is that evidence of an
expanding universe deserves a song. I think he and I would agree on that.
I appreciate you listening and commenting Eduard, thanks!
Stun Nutz
Memorable rock hooks, refined production...it's still all good. My
favorite part was the real noisy tension and release part...
orgasmic!
perceptualvortex
You know, I think that's my favorite part too. Well, that and the catchy theme. Thanks Eric, I'm glad you're liking my rock productions! It's turning into a trend, and I'm having a great time.

...Are the first words that come to mind. Your music always makes me
smile, David. You probably know this more than anyone, how much I'm
attracted to your music, and this little ditty is no exception.
This one is a little different, as it reminds me of my days of Leonard
Skinner, when I was stationed in Millinton - Memphis, Tennessee. Who
would guess that I might list this as an influence of mine... - When
walking through life and always growing up, it doesn't matter where I
ended up and what was to be listened to, as long as it is GOOD.
Thanks guys, for producing and sharing yet another, GOOD tune!

Surely you mean Lynyrd Skynyrd, of Sweet Home Alabama fame? You know, I've played that song with so many different bands it's crazy. I'm not a giant Skynyrd fan, but several of their songs really smoke. Anyway, if this reminds you of some rocking Skynyrd tunes, excellent! I'm glad I can make you smile with my music Dion! Making these songs is addicting to me, and I'm not likely to stop. Thanks Dion!
this works well at high volume, nice little 70s jam.
Solid and groovy. Now we got to get this guitar cat to play
on some of the PT tunes :)
Enjoyed listening to this.
Cheers
perceptualvortex
Glad you enjoyed this Johnny! Someday Vac is going to be a genuine MacJammer (when he gets a computer, that is), and then it'll be easier to collaborate with him. For now we just communicate via smoke signals, and he sends carrier pigeons with tapes of his playing on 1" reel-to-reel spools. Not efficient, but at least effective. Thanks for listening, commenting and faving, Johnny!
Einarus
You gave me a heavy adrenaline buzz with that one. Now I suddenly have
a weird craving of running around, jumping off rooftops and railings.
Excellent guitarwork, as usual. Excellent drumming, as usual. Excellent
production, as usual. You can probably see where I'm going with this.
Kick-ass song in every way!
perceptualvortex
Hey don't foget your helmet! Right on man, it's cool we can get the
adrenaline going. I'm glad you like this one, thanks for listening!

stompin' tune. 9989

From the driving rhythm section to the wiling guitars. A little bit of
Skynyrd, a little 38 Special. Great quality. Excellent performance and
production.
Not bad.. Just 2 Hippy for me.. pass the mary J
perceptualvortex
That's interesting... we did make sure there were no hippies around during
the recording. Well, the mailman looks like he might have been a hippy, but
I assure you he didn't influence the song in any way. Come to think of it,
he might have hummed a few melodies that got stuck in our heads. We
were taking a break from recording, and he was taking a break from walking
around my neighborhood, and we invited him in, where he started critiquing
the song. That's right... we were sitting around the hookah and he kept
making suggestions. Damn, thanks for reminding me about that!!
That's cool, pantsmaster, thanks for listening all the same.

Doadars Uncle
Very clean. Bright! Great mix and drive.
TEXASFEEL
Let me take lessons. This is really nice stuff...where did you find this
guitar player...is he a macjammer? Every thing is so clean and rocks!
Like the way the rhythm bounces left to right in parts. The leads are
outstanding and so is the mix. Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
John
perceptualvortex
His MacJammer name is Vac, but he doesn't yet have a computer, so he's
online only very rarely. He and I met taking Wing Chun classes in 90 and
91, and yes I'm as impressed as you are! Thanks for listening John, I'm
glad you like this.
Drew Kopr
Nice! Almost reminds a little of some Van Halen! Nice rocking tune! I really like that explosive part with the swell!
atonalis
the production is crystaline. wonderful job on that. just reminds me of a sunny day in santa clarita. thanks.
PeaceGirl
Hey there - this is a rockin' song. I took the liberty of throwing some lyrics at you.
Let me know if you like where it's going and I'll put a couple more verses together.
The lyrics are kind of goofy, but the song rides high on the music. You really just need something for your fans to lip sync while they're playing air guitar.
Red Shift (Down)
I been so down - and nobody knows it
Lookin%u2019 for the clown that I was in my youth
Smokin%u2019 with friends, now nobody grows it
Found a lot of answers but I ain%u2019t seen the truth
I%u2019m down, down, down, down, down with the plan
Down with the dogs, down with the man
Down, down, down, down, no where to go
But down to the party and back to the show
--- and then what happens?
-Peace
perceptualvortex
Hey thanks Peacegirl! Those are good lyrics, though I would try to avoid mentioning "clown"... they're evil, you know. I'm a juggler, so I know all about this. But the flow of the words--I can easily imagine them going with that main theme on the guitar. Hmmm... smoking, partying, going to the show... did you read my biography??
Well, midway through the song, it slips into a half-time, epic stadium rock kind of feel... that's a good place for the "show" itself. As for the rest of the lyrics... well, it's a pretty upbeat song, so maybe it should wind up on the happy upside somehow. Perhaps finding the right person, or happiness some other way? Or maybe the quest for truth continues through the song (like The Who's "The Seeker"). You write good lyrics Kristin!

This is as rock as it gets...cool instrument playing all over! This guy
should be playing in a band that will rival van halen.
glennkav
This is by far this best thing I have heard so far in my few days on the
site. Production is great. Playing is great. I learn a lot just by litening
to this!
happygemini3
for the invite to listen....this is very well produced and the playing is absolutely fantastic.....great tones....kinda like satriani in the execution....which is a good thing....he is well respected in our part of the quadrant!!!! like the arrangement and the parts are fresh and keep moving....classic and modern with a real great pace.......wonderful wonderful fret work here.....keep it up!!!! what did you use for the guitar sounds??
jie
like the over all feel nice sound, good outfront geetar.reminds me of the seventies somehow, being old enough to remember some of the fine rock bands from that era that is not a bad thing.would love to hear vocals keep it up. rock on,cheery
