Description
well. i was playing final fantasy VII with a neighbor of mine today. and it was his first time playing the game, but it was my nTH time. he thought it was boring......oh well. this is bit of a nostalgic piece ... he he. i did it entirely this afternoon. very dynamic volume wise.... and lots of sparse orchestral elements. basically two thematics (with glockenspeil), and a very loose form..... hope you all enjoy..... not much darkness in this..... bit of a switch for me. more like game soundtrack.

constant v. random
i just love how this thing moves along, ever-changing.. well, except for
that icy glock. nice way to thread everything together. sounds like those
falling snowflakes might be deadly

Man, I loved Final Fantasy VII; my favorite from the series. This is cool and moody, and yes it does remind me of the game.

Nice change
Hehe... this would fit into what I remember of the Final Fantasy series
real easy. Nice use of glockenspeil and other orchestral elements.
Keeping it nice and simple too. Of course I like it how you've added
your own glitchy drum track signature to it and how it adds a
significant amount of energy to the piece even though all the melodic
material in the background still remains slow and constant. No
particular critical comments for this one because I think its nice how it
is....

well...

Your instrument sounds are a little too real compared to the Final
Fantasy sounds... I'd suggest digging up the olde Quicktime midi
synthisiser and blah blah blah....

Nice track :P

Great sense of foreboding in an otherwise innocent and peaceful
landscape. Very picturesque. The first half also reminds me quite
stongly of the soundtrack to the game "Fable."

The drums are very disturbing when they appear. Its such an odd
combination that I'm not sure whether it works. I suppose it all
depends on the context.
