Here's a couple of things to improve this tune Watch your timing. THe guitar is occasionally late. The vocals are a bit dry, try adding a little more reverb to blend them better. You have the occasional pitch issue; I'd check that. The drum transition to the second rhythm is jarring and could use a smoother integration. The drums toward the end, before the break, are particularly out of place. You might want to add second theme in the song to break up your chord progression a bit; it sounds a tad repetitive. Correcting some of these things will improve this song tremendously. It's wonderful to hear another musician doing Christian music. Look forward to your next contribution. Chirstian rock isn't my thing, but this is generally a nice song. I didn't
think the staggered drum kit rhythm near the end worked very well,
though I get what you were after. Maybe rather than the snare/tom
beat try just a simple ride cymbal rhythm to differentiate the section?
It did sound a bit like there was something out of tune between the
bass and guitar from time to time. I couldn't tell if it was an off note or
maybe just an off string. I'd also reccommend that you try moving the
guitar away from center with panning or chorus to give your voice
some room.
