Description

One of the first songs I ever rendered on the Mac, this tune was done entirely in Easybeat - a rudimentary MIDI authoring tool. I can't seem to find the original files and I'm not really inclined to rebuild it so this is as far as I'll take it.

Moody electronica that was inspired in part by some of Moby's work. Part of my lifelong struggle with loss and pain.

not quite my style, but decent
The lead in was interesting but became a little too drawn out, I soon
was hoping for a transition... it did come... but the constant drums in
the first third were too even. The interesting 4ths/5ths harmony at the
1/2 way point was cool... more interesting rhythms in the last half.
Sort of abrupt ending, almost wanted a fast triple-ending chord
instead of it just halting. But critiquing may be moot if you're unable
to edit this. :-)

"Old School Midi"
just as you described it. Listening to this sort of reminded me of running
simultaneously to and away from something. Unsettling. Stuck in chaos
perhaps. I love the piano melody at the halfway point, and the subsequent
harmonies it creates with the other synth sequences. Really nice low-end
pad soloing too. Nice dynamics you've created with the percussion, and
I'm really digging the sound effects.
