"My Son" is a song from our loving Father telling us of His sadness over our rebellion and His provision of forgiveness through His Son.

And shaped my people with my hands, and gave them Holy birth.
To live a perfect life , enjoying land and sea
Surrounded by My presence, sweet fellowship with Me,

But they rebelled against Me, wanting their own way,

One more wonderful song from you! Thanks!

Right now I am reading the gospel of John and I sense that this song give
me some of the same "love power injection" (I'm sure you know what I am
talking about). Like if they are related in spirit. (I talk now mainly of the
musical aspect of your song. Lyrics usually pass me by when I listen to
music, which is maybe a little sad, but that's the way I am).

I know exactly what you mean Curry. Of the four gospels, John is my favorite
and this tune was definitely inspired by the Lord, so maybe the two are
related.

And, I know what you mean about not listening to the lyrics. I used to be that
way, but somewhere along my walk with God, I realized that all music comes
from Him. So I started paying attention to lyrics too. Surprisingly, I found
styles that at one time I didn't like (rock for instance) which gave fabulous
praises to God.

I am so glad you enjoyed the music. Your comments warmed my heart as I
consider you a very accomplished and talented artist.

There are lots of nice things about this song &mdash 12/12/05 - 10:07:33 PM
I especially like your guitar work. You have a nice voice, too. your words
were clear and easy to understand - an important aspect of music like
this when you have an important message to share. The idea for this song
is great. There are a couple of places that, were i to do it, I'd rework a
couple of the lines so they scan a little better, but that's me.
It's kind of funny, because I've used a couple of the loops you used in the
introduction, so I immediately got the piece of music i wrote with those
loops stuck in my head. (a hazard of using loops for me, I've found.)

I really enjoyed this song, especially the the beginning and the chorus.
I could hear some parts where harmonies would be nice. The lyrics and
message of the song are great. . . . .And i loved your voice too.
