I am the Lord Almighty God, maker of the earth,
And shaped my people with my hands, and gave them Holy birth.
To live a perfect life , enjoying land and sea
Surrounded by My presence, sweet fellowship with Me,
But they rebelled against Me, wanting their own way,
Now I have to punish them, to teach them to obey.
But My Son said, “I’ll pay the price Dad,
Because We love them so, I’ll give up the life I had.”

He came down as a baby to grow and be a man,
To show the way back to Me, to tell of My wonderful plan.
To show them what I’m like, ready to forgive and forget,
To die on a cross, to pay in full their debt.

I raised him after three days, resurrection pure and sweet,
All the people’s sins were forgiven and death has been beat.
To restore eternal life and fellowship with Me,
Accept My Son, My gift to you is free.
