Description:
this song is one of two new songs written in about 2 days. I was influenced by wilco's electronic and rockin' subtleties and I had also just gotten my electric guitar so I was pumped to use it. This song is all about fun, it is a blast to play, to just rock with so that's what it's for, I am looking forward to playing it live with the band and really just taking it home.

Lyrics:
tell me father, what should I seek
these wages of profit
or the truth praying on my knees
tell me mother, what should I be
the voice of reason
or silent like these trees

it's a long way down, before I hit my knees
it's a long way down, and I stand here begging please

tell me sister, how should I love
like the last grain of sand on earth
or the falling rain above

and tell me brother, why should I fight
do I stand a chance for freedom
or will I just fall to the right

it's a long way down
before I hit my knees
it's along way down
and I stand here begging please
it's a long way down
before I get back home
it's along way down
and I'll reap just what I've sown
