Buenos Aires Sunrise

Description
Wrote this song late at night and into the morning, witnessing a beautiful sunrise in the process. My first time using the piano as the main voice (wishing I had a keyboard so that I didn't have to plug in each note individually). I have a specific question for anyone who wants to comment on the song: what do you think of the last section (as the song fades out)? Is it too abrupt?

nice!
I like the mood of this piece. If you hadn't said, I wouldn't have guessed that you inputed every note for the piano because it sounds pretty organic. I like the change in the rhythmic feel throughout. I get the feeling of the long night turning into day. the ending did creep up sort of quick, but then it's like that moment when the sun finally does rise and all of a sudden the night is no more.
Listening to it a second time, it's really quite nice, and the only thing missing for me is a vocal, but that's just because I like the additional focus vocals give to a song a lot of the time.

Don't you think? according to the photograph it is the sea. The
feeling which shakes does the %u3086 and others %u308A %u3086 and others %u308A
and on the sea. The wind it goes, but way. The time although you being
let flow by wind, it advances. It is such a thought.

Beautiful
Very lovely composition. It has a very nice flow. Very interesting
changes. Very very tasty! Kind of slip from a folk acoustic to a jazz-like
feel. Great job!

abrupt ?
I don%u2019t hear any thing abrupt in any of your music. Its all sensitively and
tastefully done. Not having a key board may have been an asset,
otherwise you may have been tempted to muddy up your piece with a lot
of superfluous notes(my favorite bugaboo) instead you left plenty of
empty space , which helps. I liked the more textured passage toward the
ending. Nice piece.

Most of the songs here are collaborations with my friend Jono Newton recorded in New Hampshire in January '04. Then I spent the fall of '05 studying abroad in Buenos Aires where I recorded a couple tracks on my laptop without vocals. Luckily, the t... [see more]
