Description:
This is Taylor Morgan's remix of Ember, with replaced voices and new drums added. The original version of Ember can be found here for reference, or for you to remix.

Hardware:
Drakonis: Dual 1GHz G4
Taylor: iMac G5

Software:
Eduard wrote and scored Ember note-by-note on "Harmony Assistant" composition software, then MIDI-ported it to GarageBand 2. Taylor imported it into Logic Pro 7/Reason 3, and used sounds from "EXODE-Wave Soundscapes" as well as "Monster Poly", both free refills from the web... and the lowly yet Mighty RMX.

cool beat and rhythms &mdash 12/12/05 - 07:26:51 AM
nice, hypnotic almost tune.

Like the floating type melody, mixed in with the new age-ish type beat.

Nicely done. &mdash 12/12/05 - 12:55:39 PM
I enjoyed it, makes me want to sit and stare off into nothing.

hmm... &mdash 12/14/05 - 11:20:38 AM
I now have 3 versions of this track on my playlist. The great part is, they
all have their unique feel to them.

This sounds really great. So calming and mystic.

I'm thinking about joining BranDaMan to watch the nothingness...

Great remix.

This is the future speaking &mdash 11/23/07 - 06:05:48 PM
It is now 24 November 2007 and I have got 33 (thirtythree) different versions of Ember in my playlist. Can you imagine ;-) And just about all of them are great and quite different from each other without totally loosing track of the original. Cool eh?

like a gem &mdash 12/29/05 - 12:36:30 PM
Pure..tranquil...almost lulls you into a hypnotized dream state and gently
sucks the madness out of you. Not something I will listen to when I'm
trying to stay awake while driving in the middle of the night, but maybe at
home in my couch after a hard day's work in the office.

My first time to listen to your music, and i'm finding lots of hidden gems
here to fill my ipod.

like a gem &mdash 12/29/05 - 12:47:01 PM
Wow..i didnt even realize this was the same Ember music as the one with
Allanah's voice-over... they're both the same yet unique from each other.

of progressive electronica guys and you should both be proud.

To Be Honest &mdash 01/03/06 - 09:35:27 PM
I feel the "Ember Rekindled" Is the true "ONE"..I fell in love with it
immediate-lee.Like that old song says "there ain't nothin like the real
thing"..I just figured I should mention it.I guess I wanted to somehow be a
part of this delight. Many a vain attempts. Many a Trashings. I still feel I
wish I could have done the impossible.Which would be make such a
wonderful piece be even a wee bit better then it already, perfectly, was. I
thank Eduard for the chance to be able to try and re-represent,or restate.
What is a wonderful song.Taylor

Pleasant, floaty, tranquil stuff, just like everyone else has noted.
Just wanted to say, "I agree".

soothing &mdash 02/26/06 - 03:44:25 PM
Soothing, relaxing, dreamy. Very nice job! This is one tune I could hear
lots without getting sick of it. Feels a bit like driving music (as in driving
in your car, on your own, on the highway in the middle of nowhere, just
grooving to the music).
