Description:
"Cowboy Guitar" was the first piece I listened to by alley-oop. Not sure if it was the first one he posted, but I think so. I wish I had the original song art he posted with it. A lovely cartoon of his featuring a cowboy with a big guitar. I remember thinking, when I listened, 'this guy is GOOD! And so young, too!' (Because Tom had posted a photo of himself that must have been taken 30 years ago. He has aged gracefully, but rather suddenly, while participating on MacJams.)
So - ladies and gentlemen -- I present to you alley-oop and his "Cowboy Guitar!"

I think that it is backhanded and way clever of you guys to make what
is meant to be, be, and regardless of a certain paranoa - This is
excellent stuff and it is meant to be heard as many times as possible.
I do hope that we're not cutting into some planned royalties that you
were expecting though, Mr. alley-oop. And I hope that all is as good
and well as it should be for you...

Hah! No, no modulation necessary here... sounds great as is. Sounds
like it could be a brief musical interlude in a ... what? a movie with
cowboys? An expos on the iguana? Something like that.
I like iguana movies. Always gripping. But possibly I digress?
ANYWAY, I likes it, I does (as we say here), but the only thing I'm unclear
on is who did what? Is this Mr. Oop's playing? Is this Oop n'Atwood? Is
this an Atwoodian tribute to Oop? Why doesn't Atwood have a last name
more like Oop? How come theres only one 't' in Atwood? [ Reply to This ]
