Description:
a shimmery little number with a hypnotic groove and a wall of guitars.
Lyrics:
don't know why, sometimes I want to cry
well I can't say, what is happening to me
but I do know, where this all leads us to go
and the best things in life are free
and I know all of this, I hope you feel it too
no need for you to die, you know it's true
raining down, everything has it's own sound
resonate your strings till all is real
and I know all of this, I hope you feel it too
no need for you to die, you know its true
and I know why I am, and what will always stand
and I know why we're here, exactly how we should feel

Sweet! &mdash 12/14/05 - 10:17:09 AM
Great start to this piece! The wall of sound gets me pumped!
Guitar sound and structure is awesome. I'd like to hear the lead guitar stand out a little more. Maybe a different effect on it? Those screaming licks are nasty, but they fade a little into the background for me. Nice job. Bad ass song. [ Reply to This ]

Maybe it's me, but I could stand for a slightly quicker fade at the end. I'm sure live that would work great, but in the studio it seems a little long.

dig it &mdash 12/14/05 - 11:35:57 AM
Nice fat sound. Wall of sound indeed. I like the transitions and that
break after the first chorus. This sounds great. Well performed, too. I
like the ending as well. [ Reply to This ]
Definite thick sound &mdash 12/15/05 - 07:26:53 AM
Well written and performed. Nice breaks, and sound quality. The vocals
might stand out more if made louder, and a bit of L & R seperation in
the chorus, especially. Being the vocals are surrounded by such a wall
of sound, they should adapt at certain points during the song to fullfil
their own "wall" Other than that, this is solid. [ Reply to This ]
Big fat wall &mdash 12/15/05 - 10:45:23 AM
I really wasn't sure of what "wall of guitars" meant, but now I know! :) VERY nice sound. Reminds me of music that would be played during the credits roll of a movie :) [ Reply to This ]
Wonderful... &mdash 12/15/05 - 04:30:42 PM
Great singing... great guitar sound. Nice bass sound too. Really liked it
the first time I heard it. I agree with Ali about the vocals. It sounds like
you're a little unconfident about them and you shouldn't be. [ Reply to This ]
Guitar POWER! &mdash 12/16/05 - 07:31:27 AM
Yep, that's a wall of guitars alright! &mdash 12/16/05 - 09:28:04 PM
Very nice - great wall of sound. Beatleesque hints in there, along with
Bowie, Genesis, Oasis etc. Would sound brilliant live I'm sure. Must
listen to more of your tunes.
