Rock the Bells, Man! As I mentioned in last year's post on this tune,
you did a great job cranking on this ancient Ukranian carol... one of my
(and my wife's) favorite holiday melodies. I have collected a bunch of
different renditions of this tune, even wrote one of my own here... and
I still love how you rip through this "Bells to the Wall!" I'd download it,
but I already did last year... but I'll fave it again, thanks for reposting,
and keep it up this time Ronnie, you can do it! Shakes the snow off the
roof!
ttfn,
Drakonis

I like the guitar effects chosen and notes played you rock it out quite
nicely

Just plain cool &mdash 12/14/05 - 05:08:15 PM
I love the sparkly bells descending into the riff from We Three Kings
then into Carol of the Bells. This song actually lends itself to a metal
treatment really well because of the basic melody repeating which
leaves you lots of space to riff.

Wanna head upstairs and climb the Xmas tree and start flingin' tinsel and ornaments around the room..... Nice axe work. Percussion sounds a smidge thin could stand some low end in it but that's just an y chromosome talkin - you laid it down and it's right on as it is. Wish I had it last year but glad I have it this year. Thanks for sharing it. Wish I had yer ear, man. Nice.

This is the ONE! &mdash 12/15/05 - 05:20:47 PM
This was one of the first songs I heard on MacJams when I joined at the
end of last December. It was also one of my first five downloads. It's a
kickass version of this great tune all year round. Glad to see it return!

RIght on, sounded like Jolly Old St. Randy there a few times - excellent! Great tone on the guitar tracks and I agree that the drums could come up fatter in the mix. Would've loved to've heard some huge, thrumming bottom end, but the wall of sound you've put up there had me head-banging quite nicely. Sweet!

AWESOME PINCH EFFECTS &mdash 12/18/05 - 04:28:03 PM
Like trans-siberian orchestra version but
more intense. Beautiful pinching of notes
and some kind of octave pedal(?)

keep it up

I loved the fact the percussion is not overpowering the lead, cause there is a lot of fun guitar sounds here.

Thanks for sharing Ronnie! Hey, terrific addition witht he bells. Cool idea!
