Description:
hmm, well, of course plagued with my usual production etceteras, but wanted some input on the imagery this calls to mind for people, would love to know, I have a specific one in my head mostly revealed in the title, just curious.
Also experimenting with bassier sounds.
Thanks for the listen.

Johnny took the preacher down to the Bayou
And showed him what was what for
And I found my friend on the other side
And he told me what was what for
You didn't call me back,
You didn't call me back and
My phone was on, my phone was on
And it did not vibrate
Under my spine, down in my bed
I don't know why, I don't know why, I keep on waiting for your call
I don't know why, I don't know why, I keep on waiting for your call
I don't know why, I don't know why, I keep on waiting for you
Don't know why I keep on waiting, waiting...
Concurrent Verse:
I'm gonna stand under the diamond (Repeat throughout)
End Call:
Don't go on waiting
Don't go on waiting my friend
Don't go on waiting
Don't go on waiting for your...

shame about the hissing noise &mdash 12/15/05 - 10:01:11 AM
Your harmonies are spectacular.
Very attractive melody.
I would like to hear this expanded.

Sounds great &mdash 12/15/05 - 11:45:30 AM
I agree with themasses, this has great harmonies and melodies. You could bring in some midrange strumming guitar to fill out the sonic space after a verse or two (if it gets that long :) Also, a simple half-time feel drumbeat could help propel the song, if you bring it in late. There's a lot of nice potential here. [ Reply to This ]
There's something to this &mdash 12/17/05 - 05:44:06 AM
Starts off rough, but the harmonies really make this something special.
Is it a work in progress? [ Reply to This ]

Thanks guys, yes this is totally a work in progress. I actually started a forum on
this, I'm pretty good with coming up with songs, but re-visiting them for
improvement always finds me stuck. But that's part of the learning process.

Really nice piece &mdash 01/05/06 - 05:09:34 AM
A really nice piece, done with a good heart! Wish I could make that much
in such a easy way. I really like that tabulature, easy to grasp, most people
could learn. The artistic side here is to make so much music of ot it! [ Reply to This ]
