Jump Blues (2)
Description:
This is an intrumental jump blues. It's dedicated to my old friend Eugene Brown. A great blues guistarist in his own right. He's the gentleman to the left of me in the picture, He loves Tbone Walker and Albert Collins as I do. I played both guitars and Bass on this and my friend JB laid down the drums. It was recorded about four years ago on a little Boss Br8 so the sound quaity isn't near what some others here have achieved. I plan on gettin a new Mac Powerbook and Mbox in the near future and jumping back into recording. The musicians here in MacJams are an inspiration.

Lyrics:
None, Instrumental

Hardware:
Fender Strat for lead
Epiphone Casino on Rhythm track.
Cheap Japanese PBass copy for bass part.
JB's drums
Guitars and bass all recorded direct into The Boss BR9
Drums miked.

Thanks for the kind words. This recording is almost three years old, I can't wait to get a newer mac based recording setup in the near future and record some new tunes. Some of the recordings on this website are really high quality. The little Boss BR9 has served it's purpose, but I want to move on to a computer based studio.

Thanks, I've always liked players like Duke Robilliard and Ronnie Earl. They lean more to a jump swing style of Blues, but I'm also a big fan of the Blues Rockers SRV, Clapton, Duane Allman ect ect.

Thanks fer the feadback. All I have right now is Acid 4.0 on my puter. I plan on getting a new Mac laptop with an mbox in the very near future, This was done a little Boss BR8. THos things are ok to a fault but ya can't do much editing on them.

Shades of Cornell Dupree &mdash 01/25/06 - 09:12:36 PM
Nicely done. Love that walking bass line and jazzy blues chops. Makes for a rich, laid back, and melodic number.

Well done!

Big marks/fav/keeper
