Lyrics
and when he
looks into his eyes

he will find
to no surprise

his world has changed
its not quite what he thought

that these days
he would find himself

that he would find himself
all alone

Death Cab for Cutie?
Maybe not them...but this is a good attempt at a masterpiece.
I gotta say that I liked it, but the vocals should be louder - dont be afraid
to show your voice...And maybe some other instrumentals

Do what you like! But those are my ideas
Good job...and keep it up!

Thanks for posting here at MacJams

Death Cab for Cutie?
Ah thanks again for the comments. Yea, I only have one mic in my dorm room,
so I decided to just crank up the preamp and hope for the best...the vocals
didn't come out half as strong as I would have liked. but when I get back from
break I'll have more mics, and my friend Ben (who did the vocals for I Think It's
Love, Even Now, and Hold On) might want to attempt doing some vocals which
would be nice.

Good ideas though, thanks for the input!

Good Starting Point
I would agree that the vocals should come up in the mix. It has some
real potential to be a solid relavent song. I liked how the drum effects
came in toward the end. If I were you I would continue to build on this
song. But that's just my opinion.

Thanks, good opinion. I'll definitely rework this if I get the time/motivation.

Playing guitar since 1997ish. I've been in a bunch of bands. Currently in Montauk, a prog-rock post-rock sort of band ( http://www.myspace.com/montauknh ). I also do a lot of solo stuff (found here, and at http://www.myspace.com/bryantnaro )... [see more]
