Moving in snow motion.... &mdash 12/20/05 - 11:36:15 PM
This is so joyful and light.
It drifts and whirls and flurries along, while beams of sunlight sparkle
upon the snow.
Crystalline loveliness.... [ Reply to This ]

Mystified, sounds like you've been reading Tadashi Togawa's posts. How
poetic! Always a delight to read his posts (and yours as well).

Hypnotic &mdash 12/20/05 - 11:45:16 PM
The 6 beat is perfect for these shimmering snowflakes. It does sound snowy to me. Very nice Tom! [ Reply to This ]

I think it's perfect &mdash 12/21/05 - 01:46:34 AM
Could last for hours, and you will still enjoy it.
Like a snow fall at Christmas.

Wonderful... &mdash 12/21/05 - 03:55:30 AM
You have this palatte of sounds and colours that you really understand
and you seem to be able to take them in so many directions. This is a
great, joyful example of that.
It reminds me of some of Badly Drawn Boy's more ecstatic 6/8 stuff...
for what it's worth.
Happy Christmas and thanks for a great year on MJ.. [ Reply to This ]
White fairies &mdash 12/21/05 - 05:20:49 AM
As for yellowstone, the name is known to Japan.
The American Continent is wide.
The snow seems to flutter this song irregularly.
Children love snow.
Photograph and song of good commemoration.
The composition is excellent as usual.

Very nice &mdash 12/21/05 - 06:29:25 AM
I'm a big fan of ambient music, and this appeals to me. Lovely rhythm, great sounds, and nicely mixed. Cinematic in its evocativeness (whatever that means!). Very cool. [ Reply to This ]
Nice work &mdash 12/21/05 - 11:44:12 AM
Delightful walking or driving song, or just meditatively gazing at the
lights on the Xmas tree. Now how many egg nogs have I had? [ Reply to This ]
it good. me like &mdash 12/21/05 - 02:51:20 PM
Running out of things to say. Another delightful piece of music that really
conveys the idea you describe to a T. DL [ Reply to This ]
Wow &mdash 12/21/05 - 02:58:02 PM
Very creative. I really like it. It reminds me of snowfall and winter time.
Like this a lot Tom. [ Reply to This ]
Very atmospheric &mdash 12/21/05 - 08:54:32 PM
Well-constructed and nicely played. It really does sound like snow.
And hmm, what is the significance of the number 1956? Perhaps the
same significance of 1959, to me?
That young lady's a real snow angel. Yours, I assume. You're blessed.
Nice work, Tom. [ Reply to This ]

1956 &mdash 12/22/05 - 04:04:20 AM
ahha! I knew you had affection for the 1956 number and can't let it go.
I'm glad. I like it to.
Joyful, Tom! I get such a sense of you in this track. Humor, goodness,
cheer, sweetness, love. Lots of gushy stuff grown men aren't suppose
to tell each other, but I'll go out on limb here and say those things.
great tune Mister1956. [ Reply to This ]

It gave me a headache, all that ciphering, but I appreciate the high marks. (I
got 1,438,295 to the second power.)

Good percussion! Soft. A moment suspended in movement.
Great picture. I've always wanted to see the West in winter. [ Reply to This ]
I was in Yellowstone just this October &mdash 12/25/05 - 04:46:17 AM
Most of the park was empty, they had completely torn up the road on the
entrance from South Dakota and there was a light dusting of snow
everywhere.
This could have been the soundtrack ... if it sounded bumpier. That road
in was very bumpy. :) [ Reply to This ]

wow! &mdash 12/27/05 - 12:02:11 AM
This has nothing to do with the song, but I really like the picture you used! It's really cute.
Ok, now the song. I love it! Snow is my favorite part of Christmastime... so it was cool to hear a song devoted to it! The lyrics are beautifully written and the music compliments them quite nicely. I see snow falling while listening to it! Great job and keep up the awesome work. Merry Christmas! [ Reply to This ]
Happy Snow &mdash 12/27/05 - 01:54:45 PM
This seems to be happy snow. It's kind of the feeling kids get when it's
the first snow of the season or the kind of snow that lets you go sledding
and skiing. A fun piece. [ Reply to This ]
Very seasonal &mdash 01/09/06 - 09:38:54 PM
From a very hot southern Australia, the tune cooled me down
momentarily. Good choice of time sig and a lovely lilting feel to it.
Most enjoyable. [ Reply to This ]
